Shareholder's General Meeting (Gesellschafterversammlung)
The shareholders in the NITHH Northern Institute of Technology Management Hamburg-Harburg gGmbH are around 40 professors at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). Together they are members of the Board of Trustees and Society of Friends of the NITHH Northern Institute of Technology Management Hamburg-Harburg e.V.
The Board of the Society consists of the General Meeting, which elects members of the Supervisory Board and grants discharge to the Management on the basis of the annual financial statements.
Supervisory Board (Aufsichtsrat)
The Supervisory Board appoints the Executives and supervises the Executive Board of the NIT. The Supervisory Board is headed by Dr. Gottfried von Bismarck (Senior Consultant to Körber AG). The other members of the Supervisory Board are the following:
Industrial Advisory Board (Industrieller Beirat)
A central element of quality management at the NIT is the Industrial Advisory Board, whose members are high-ranking representatives of the industry sponsors. An important function of the Advisory Board is to represent the viewpoint of industry to ensure that the development of technology managers is in balance with the requirements of industry. The Board advises the NIT on acquisition strategy, the curriculum and internships, as well as its marketing activities. It also forms and enlarges the network of sponsoring companies.
