The NIT is a small but exclusive institution, taking in 30 to 35 students yearly. Over the more than 12 years since its formation at the end of 1998, the alumni community has steadily grown to almost 400 alumni worldwide. You’ll find NIT alumni in all continents, organizing themselves increasingly in international and regional groups.

With their double degree, NIT alumni capitalize their broad professional education by building careers in many different industries and fields. They build a career with major international groups as well as in small and medium sized enterprises. They might be doing research in PhD programs at renowned universities or become entrepreneurs with their own start-ups.

The NIT Alumni Team coordinates alumni management and cooperates closely with the Board of the NIT Alumni Association e. V. The Alumni Team’s activities include organization and strategic development of alumni-related processes in continuous dialog with the alumni. Over the year, several events are organized, the most prominent being the Homecoming Weekend. Alumni are welcome to contribute to the further advancement of the NIT by means of improvement suggestions, contacts, other non-cost benefits, or donations.
