NIT team has reached semifinals at the Bangkok Business Challenge

As the only European team, the “DrilLight LLC” team of the Northern Institute of Technology Management has reached the semifinals of the international mai Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin.  

Participation in the Bangkok Business Challenge is open to all graduates worldwide. The team members of the NIT are Hannes Hatecke, Jan-Hendrik Redmann, Arne Speerforck, Eugen Solowjow and Henning Haschke, all of them are currently students of NIT Class 12. For their competition project, they are working on a cost cutting product for the oil drilling industry. 

In the first round of the challenge the NIT team has already succeeded among top teams from highly acclaimed universities such as Shanghai Jioa Tong, Welingkar, ESSEC, ESADE, Durham and Rice. Now 16 teams will go into the competition and compete at the finals in Bangkok. The NIT is proud to challenge the teams from prestigious universities such as Queensland, Nanyang and Cornell.
