NIT Club of NORDMETALLers

Neither a sudden work overload, nor an accident on the long car journey from Stuttgart to the north-east of the country was able to prevent NIT NORDMETALL alumni and students from attending the first get-together of the NIT NORDMETALLer Club on Friday and Saturday November 4 and 5, 2011. They were warmly welcomed at Schloss Hasenwinkel by Dr. Klischan, Ms. Wagner and Mr. Haas of the NORDMETALL Employers Association and Foundation and by Dr. Jermann and Ms. Bläsig of the NIT. Members of different NIT classes, the attendees did not simply enjoy the beautiful location, but immediately embarked on a lively exchange and talks to let the network take shape naturally. This year’s two new scholarship holders were especially welcomed to the Club as they were presented with their certificates. Interesting keynote addresses by impressive speakers such as Ms. Cathrin Janßen of Jungheinrich AG and Mr. Thomas Lambusch of SEAR GmbH rounded off the two-day program. Not forgetting the delicious food and refreshments, it was, all in all, a great event!  Many thanks to NORDMETALL for the invitation. Initial feedback: let´s meet again, maybe next year, it would be much appreciated!
