On February, 27 the Aurubis Cup award ceremony takes place at the NIT.

The Aurubis Cup is part of the NIT’s new Entrepreneurship Program and a competition of business proposals for a real market challenge, sponsored by Aurubis subsidiary CABLO. Prof. Dr. Christian Lüthje, the TUHH’s economics dean, is in academic charge of the challenge. The Cup started in December 2011 and the competing teams have handed in their concepts on 05 February 2012.

Members of the jury are Dr. Michael Liesegang (CEO) and Jörg Landau, CABLO Metall-Recycling & Handels GmbH, and Prof. Dr. Lüthje. The jury will also judge the final presentations on February 27.

After the presentations, the awards will be handed over by Dr. Michael Landau, member of the board of Aurubis AG.

NIT invites all current NIT students to the final presentations of the concepts and the award ceremony of the Aurubis Cup.
