NIT and TUHH Student Cynthia Figueroa Madinaveitia from Mexico was awarded with this year´s DAAD Study Award, given by the Technical University of Hamburg (TUHH). Cynthia Figueroa Madinaveitia studies a MBA in Technology Management at the NIT and a Master of Science in Mechatronics at the TUHH. She was awarded for her outstanding academic achievements as well as for her social commitment. In collaboration with fellow students she founded the network "Red de Talentos Mexicanos" to promote and support a better communication between Mexicans and Germans at universities, in economics and in politics. Cynthia Figueroa Madinaveitia currently writes her master thesis at her
sponsoring company Procter & Gamble. P&G has been 
sponsoring Cynthia with a full scholarship.
