A scholarship at the NIT is effective for the duration of the program – two years.

It includes:

  • NIT tuition fees
  • NIT apartment rent
  • TUHH semester fees
  • free use of the NIT sports facilities
  • a contribution to the NIT security fund


and amounts to EUR 27,000 in all.

Payment is expected in two EUR 13,500 installments due in August before the first year of study and in October in the second year of study. Modification of the payment plan can be discussed, if it is reasonable and necessary.

The NIT Northern Institute of Technology Management gGmbH is a non-profit institution under German law. Therefore the amount paid to the NIT is tax deductible in Germany. Tax deductibility in other countries needs to be verified.
