After successful completion of the NIT/TUHH double-degree program, students are awarded two Master’s degrees:

  • a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering from the TUHH
  • a Master’s or an MBA degree in Technology Management from the NIT and the TUHH
  • in addition, international students will receive a Goethe Institut certificate of German language proficiency (level ZD or ZMP, according to the student’s proficiency), while German students will take a certificate of an equivalent level in a foreign language.

The Master of Science degree generally enables students to continue their studies with a Ph.D. program.
