NIT Northern Institute of Technology Management presented the first Hamburg Economic Dialog on January 26, 2017 at 6.00 pm. Entrepreneurs and managers from Hamburg's SME sector came together at NIT to jointly discuss the challenges of digitization. The theme of the first event is: Work 4.0 - Humans or Machines? Two short impulse speeches by NIT CEO Verena Fritzsche and by Kristina Lohse-Thiele, Head of Customers and Process Development at Hamburg Wasser, was followed by an open panel discussion with representatives of business, science, politics and start-ups. On the panel: Verena Fritzsche (CEO NIT), Kristina Lohse-Thiele, Carmen Möller (Grüne Fraktion Hamburg-Nord), Tobias Hagenau (Startup HQ Labs). The evening will be moderated by Sven Enger, digital expert and initiator of the Digital Think Tank at NIT. Participation by registration only, until January 20, 2017.
Hamburger Economic Dialog
With the NIT Digital ThinkTank, founded in November, NIT is organizing a range of workshops, talks and network events with the aim of bringing together actors, stakeholders and interested parties in the Digital Revolution. Once every three months NIT invites CEOs and entrepreneurs in the SME sector to the Hamburg Economic Dialog to discuss Industry 4.0, new fields of business and future fields of work. The goal is to create a stimulating exchange of ideas and views on issues important to the SME sector. Speakers from the worlds of business, science, politics and start-ups will provide input and inspiration.
