Top companies seek top candidates!

Working toward two master’s degrees at the same time, students at the NIT Northern Institute of Technology Management want to study more than just engineering science. They take the double degree master’s program in technology management and engineering at the NIT and Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). Many companies support this unique combination and award scholarships to especially good candidates.

The master’s program at the NIT prepares ambitious young engineers for exciting challenges in a global context to enable them to take a responsible approach as technology managers of the future. During their two-year, twin-track program, students from around the world add to their engineering expertise a sound management training. Business enterprises appreciate this combination.

NXP Semiconductors has supported the NIT for many years and regularly awards scholarships to NIT students. “We welcome engineers from the NIT because along with technical know-how they contribute business management skills,” says Georg Menges, Director Cooperative Innovation Projects at NXP Semiconductors Germany GmbH. “We can deploy them purposefully and give them responsibility during the internship they can pursue with us as part of their program of studies – a win-win situation for companies and students.”

During their studies, NIT students benefit from interactive and personal teaching, international faculty and an intercultural learning atmosphere. Wide-ranging use of case studies, simulations, excursions and internships in business, along with lectures by a variety of guest speakers guarantee successful linkage of theory and practice.

This year, scholarships for outstanding students are being awarded by the following companies:

The program, which is delivered in English, starts with an intensive German language course in September 2017. To apply, you must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or IT subjects and very good English language skills.
