Top 100 Place for the TUHH in Times Higher Education World University Rankings’ “Third-Party Funding from Industry” Category.
From a standing start to one of the world’s best, the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), competing with the world’s best for the first time, made it straight to the Top 500 in the London Times Higher Education’s latest world university rankings. The THE’s world’s top-ranking university continues to be the UK’s University of Oxford.
In the 2018 THE World University Rankings the TUHH is one of 44 German universities rated above the median in all five categories evaluated. In the Third-Party Funding from Industry category the TUHH performed particularly well with a place in the world’s Top 100.
"I am delighted that we have been rewarded for our courage in the very first year in which we have taken part in this prestigious ranking,” said TUHH President Garabed Antranikian. “With this result we have once again highlighted the TUHH on the international university map. That is important, and not just for our research cooperation. The rankings are also an important orientation aid for prospective foreign students.”
