We believe that the digital transformation of our society is not a one-off task but a change of inner attitude. That is why we aim to make the process of culture change deliberate, to initiate and support it.
We became aware of the demand for this support in 2016 when we asked our cooperating companies what their greatest current challenges were. The quintessence of their responses was that the greatest challenge was the change to their business model brought about by digitization and Industry 4.0.
In addition to the changing demands on managers and their teams, new technologies and more agile processes create numerous new opportunities for manufacturing and the service sector that need to be evaluated.
We have since continued to develop at our NIT Think Tank an approach to process support for digital transformation.
The Idea: We would like to support and advise companies on digital transformation. The program is intended to cover the entire value chain from an analysis of the current situation and training for employees to the implementation of new technologies.
The NIT supports companies in the different stages of the transformation process.
We maintain an interdisciplinary network of international scientists and practitioners and are happy to place this expertise at companies' disposal. We put together just the right team of experienced consultants and digital natives and support change processes at the company on-site if required.
We see digital transformation at the company as a holistic process.
That is why we designed our process mentoring so that it integrates all the steps and kicks in exactly where it is needed.
What is digitalization? How does digital transformation change entire industries? Which technologies are relevant for your company? We illuminate these and other questions from the perspective of business, science, politics and culture. We do so inter alia at our regular Hamburg Economic Dialog.
The first step in process support is aimed at developing among all concerned an understanding of necessary current and future changes and an awareness of the benefits of new technologies.
We start where you are right now. Together with our process facilitators we take a close look at your company.
Which technologies have you been using to generate value creation? Where might new technologies such as 3D printing be of interest? Our experts will advise you comprehensively and analyze your requirements using the latest findings and methods.
Think differently, leave the beaten path, take an open approach to innovative technologies. Digitization calls for new mindsets. To enable you to acquire process skills the NIT offers a range of workshops and seminars for employees or entire innovation teams.
They can be held at your premises or a the NIT's Design Thinking Space in the south of Hamburg, where attendees can try out new methods and approaches in a protected space - away from your day-to-day business. You are expressly encouraged to make mistakes - in order to learn from them.
Interested parties have an extensive further training offering from our NIT toolbox at their disposal. They get to know innovative methods and can try them out on entrepreneurial projects of your own.
Using tools such as the lean startup approach they can trial new business ideas for marketability. With a new entrepreneurial mindset employees, once they are back at the company, can take digital change forward and shape the transformation.
Our aim in everything we do is to train shapers of digital change. What we at the NIT mean by training is to enable people to take innovations forward and use new technologies to take the world a step further and make it cleaner, safer, more open and more worth living in.
In process mentoring we also strive to prepare companies to the best possible extent for the challenges of the future and thereby make them fit for digital change. Would you like to actively shape change at your company? We will advise and support you. Feel free to contact us!
Our corporate programs range from intensive workshops over several days and summer schools to management training over several months for up-and-coming executives and management staff.
Alternatively, we can offer various meetings on your premises, in our Design Thinking Space at the NIT in Hamburg, or elsewhere.
Digitalization covers all areas of society without exception. For companies, this means that they have to adapt to fundamental changes in their work processes. The new qualification series of the associations Nordmetall and AGV Nord, entitled "Modulqualifizierung Digitale Strategie" (Module Qualification Digital Strategy), assists companies over a period of several weeks in shaping structural change.
The offer: Several employees from three different companies take part forming interdisciplinary teams to work together over four modules in interactive Workshops. The attendees will learn how they can actively manage change in their enterprise.
The workshops take place at the participating companies, and thus are able to offer insight into the respective working environments. In the practical phases between individual modules, work continues on the innovative ideas from individual companies.
We would be pleased to create an individual process mentoring program for your company. Feel free to contact us!
