The course provides tools and methods of Quality Management along the life of a product. Emphasis is put on systematic development and risk insurance of products.

  • 7 Quality tools (7 basic tools), incl. exercises
  • 7 Management tools (7 new tools), incl. exercises
  • Methods of product development
  • Customer and competitor orientated product development with the method Quality Function Deployment (QFD)
  • Case study for Quality Function Deployment (QFD)
  • Technical risk analysis with the method Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Case study for Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
