This week another group of international senior managers is beginning the Management Development Program, developed in 2011 by NIT and tesa. The customized program consists of six modules, which are implemented by the responsible tesa executive and an NIT faculty member specialized in the subject. Its aim is, for one, to intensify executives’ expertise in their respective areas but, above all, to understand and to question corporate strategy from a management perspective in this connection and to discuss tesa’s further strategic development.
Jointly with tesa, a global manufacturer of self-adhesive system solutions, NIT has developed a customized training program for senior management personnel - coordinated with the individual company's needs. The Participants are global in scope and reflect a mix of different functional disciplines. 16 managers are participating in the current round, all of them are holding a key position at tesa. As a team, a responsible tesa executive and an NIT faculty member impart knowledge and skills in the following six modules: Strategy, Human Resources, B2B, Supply Network, B2C, Financial Management.
Group 3 of the Management Development Program starts with the module "strategy" in Hamburg this week. Thomas Schlegel, CEOof tesa, leads the module in collaboration with Professor Cliff Bowman, Cranfield School of Management. Followed by Thomas Fuchs, Executive Vice President HR, and Professor Michael Dickmann, Cranfield School of Management, with their module "human resources". The next workshops are going to take place in Shanghai and Lisbon in 2016.
