NIT-STUDENTS MASTERED VENTURE CUP

Every year, NIT students slip into the role of a business consultant and take on a business project. Over a period of three months, the students of the E-Track (Entrepreneurial Management) worked on a real case and were able to use the knowledge gained in their master's studies directly in practice: "Knowing that our results would be implemented directly at a property in Berlin, we were able to cope well with this intensive project alongside everyday university life. The work in a large team project was very instructive; we always had to coordinate the various work packages and ensure that all contributions were taken into account in the final concept. The Venture Cup certainly trained our ability to think entrepreneurially, which will not only benefit us a lot in the further course of our studies," says Lukas Gaats, NIT student from Class 20.

On January 14, the final of the Venture Cup took place at the NIT Northern Institute of Technology Management and the participants presented their results to a jury. The jury included Paul Hahnert, Managing Director of EHP Erste Hanseatische Projektmanagement GmbH.

Concept Tiny Rooms

This year, the 11 students of the Class 20 have dealt with "Tiny Rooms" and developed a concept for a building in Berlin-Pankow for EHP. With an extensive market analysis, precise target group definition and detailed cost calculation, they made a clear investment recommendation and convinced the jury. "The students exceeded my expectations and developed very good and above all feasible ideas. With this result, the students have a real impact, because this concept can be implemented to a large extent," says Hahnert.

At the awards ceremony, the jury praised the students and rewarded them with prize money of 3,300 Euros, provided by the Thomas J.C. and Angelika Matzen Stiftung.

Congratulations!
