START YOUR STUDIES – WITH THE COMMUNITY E.V. FELLOWSHIP

At the start of the new semester (fall 2020), the NIT Northern Institute of Technology Management will award the "commuNITy e.V. scholarship" for the first time. This partial scholarship is sponsored through the association "commuNITy e.V." to support students who have already been intensively involved in social and societal issues and who would like to continue such involvement in the future. The association was founded in June 2018 in order to develop young talents, to better connect commuNITy to intercultural activities, and to continue to develop the teaching quality at the NIT.

Actively Shaping the International CommuNITy

The support is intended to benefit NIT students who want to become part of the NIT-commuNITy. In addition, the scholarship holder should be interested in supporting commuNITy e.V. as a student ambassador.

Who can apply for the scholarship?

In the application process for the master study at the NIT, interested parties indicate if they are interested in any specific scholarship. Applicants should have a bachelor degree in engineering, technology, computer science, natural sciences, or a business program as well as very good English skills. When applying for the commuNITy e.V.-Scholarship, candidates should convince the selection committee of their strong social commitment in the "Statement of Purpose" and describe previously completed projects and activities. Additionally, any certificates from volunteer work is encouraged.

After reviewing the applications, personal interviews with the admissions committee of the NIT take place. The scholarship can be divided among several qualified applicants. The application deadline for the master in technology management is July 15, 2020; however, it is recommended to apply as early as possible for the study program and the commuNITy e.V. scholarship.
