At the NIT, students develop skills to master current and future challenges related to digitization. On the basis of real projects, they design business ideas and put them into practice - whether in established companies or in their own start-ups.
The Master's program in Technology Management combines technical and scientific knowledge with management methods and entrepreneurship. Thanks to the special learning concept at NIT, students get hands-on experience individually and in teams. Students expand their skills, learn about the latest innovation methods, and train their entrepreneurial thinking skills.
In an agile, constantly changing working world, these skills are most demanded by successful companies. By studying at the NIT, you can invest in your future and increase your career opportunities—especially with internationally active companies.

Most NIT students in the Master's program in Technology Management pay the tuition fees themselves. Many students complete the Master's program alongside a job or doctorate and receive an individual grant from their employer.
If you are planning to study at NIT alongside your career, we recommend that you talk to your employer about your plans. Many employers welcome further training of their employees, who then offer new insights and competencies to the company. For this reason, numerous companies support their employees in financing further training.
Particularly outstanding applicants who are interested in the Double Master in Technology Management can apply for a scholarship. Some of the NIT’s partner companies offer industrial scholarships and, after an intensive selection process, pay the tuition fees for students studying for a double master's degree.
Application for a scholarship from renowned partner companies
These include, for example, Procter & Gamble, NXP or ArcelorMittal. If you would like to apply for one, please find out about the company's requirements.
A full scholarship covers all tuition fees for studying at NIT, including language courses. Administrative fees (TUHH semester enrollment fee + NIT administrative fee) are not included in the scholarship and have to be covered by the student (2x300€ per semester). Applications must be submitted directly to the NIT as part of the letter of motivation.
Furthermore, we encourage you to look into applying for individual scholarships besides the industrial tuition scholarships, offered directly through the NIT. Various foundations offer grants to talented students—in your home country as well as in Germany. Have a look at the DAAD scholarship database and the institutions listed below.
For further scholarships to cover personal living expenses you may also contact:

The NIT in cooperation with the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) may award a limited number of Cost of Living Allowances to outstanding international students without industrial tuition scholarships or other scholarships towards their cost of living. Such an allowance covers 250€ per month and is granted for one year.
We would like to highlight the close relationship between the NIT and the Claussen Simon Foundation. The scholarships are awarded for studies of all disciplines at German universities.

The Hemshorn Foundation awards scholarships to young people with a Christian background to help them develop their full potential. The scholarship aims to promote those with a special talent or high motivation.
