CURRICULUM OF THE NIT MASTER PROGRAM

The NIT curriculum includes fundamental general management courses such as economics, finance, strategy, human resources, supply chain management, and marketing – specifically for engineers. In addition, courses like corporate responsibility, governance, business ethics, teamwork, communication and conflict management lay the foundation to develop responsible managers and strong leaders. To better equip you for the international work place, every student learns a foreign language other than English as part of the program. You have a choice of two specializations.

Profound Management Knowledge combined with pratical Experience

The NIT Master's program is designed to be studied part-time. Classes take place in the evenings, on the weekends, and during two four-week spring schools, offered in March of the first study year and in February of the second year, respectively.

During the third semester, you spend 3 to 5 months in industrial internships in Hamburg, another city or even abroad. Students who are studying in parallel to full-time employment can substitute a work project for the internship. The study program concludes with a 3-months Master's thesis, which you can write during the fourth semester.
